Public Notice!
The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) hereby informs the general public that, pursuant to the powers granted by Section 692 (3) and (4) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act No. 3 of 2020, it intends to strike off the names of defunct or dormant companies from the Register. This action is targeted at companies that have not filed their Annual Returns for the past ten years.
A comprehensive list of these companies is now available on the Commission’s official website at [www.cac.gov.ng](http://www.cac.gov.ng).
To avoid being delisted, affected companies must take immediate action. You have a period of 90 days from the date of this publication to file all outstanding Annual Returns. After filing, you must notify the Commission by sending an email to activation@cac.gov.ng. Failure to meet this deadline will result in the removal of your company’s name from the Register.
It is imperative to understand that once a company is delisted, it is deemed dissolved. Consequently, conducting business under the name of a delisted company is illegal and subject to legal repercussions.
The Commission urges all stakeholders to review the published list and ensure compliance within the stipulated timeframe to maintain good corporate standing. Your prompt attention to this matter is crucial.
